Summary:
**Responsibilities**:
- Prepare pizza dough from scratch
- Schedule and coordinate cooking pizza orders
- Monitor food stock levels and prepare ingredients as required
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
- Maintain accurate inventory and recordkeeping
- Keep the kitchen clean and organized
- Follow recipes and presentations accurately and efficiently
- Collaborate with other members of the kitchen team
- Attend training sessions, seminars, and workshops as required
- Other tasks as assigned by the manager
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience as a pizza cook, preferably in a similar pizzeria environment or Italian restaurant
- Strong knowledge and expertise in preparing Neapolitan-style pizza
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks at once
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Detailed-oriented with strong focus on food quality and presentation
- Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
- Must be legally eligible to work in the country of employment
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work in a hot and noisy environment
Education and Certification Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Culinary degree or certification preferred, but not required
- Food Safety Certification preferred, but not required
**Salary**:
Salary may vary depending on experience, location and other factors.
