Conveyancer/receptionist

**Conveyancer/Receptionist**

Working under the general supervision of the Sales Manager, General Manager and Managing Broker, the Conveyancer/Receptionist will be expected to open deal files, receive and release trust funds, assist in the processing of deals and agent payouts, running banking errands and perform other office organizational related duties as required

**Conveyance Duties**:

- Process listings and other documentation related to MLS or Exclusive Agreements
- LTSA and BC Online - Title Searches, Covenants and Company inquiries
- Answer all conveyance related incoming calls and handle callers’ inquiries
- Enter and process all transaction files
- Report all sales to Chilliwack and District Real Estate Board (CADREB)
- Review all documents submitted by REALTORS® and verify file as complete
- Calculate to verify REALTORS® commission figures and details
- Process REALTOR® commission cheques
- Prepare bank deposit books and daily bank deposits
- Print excess funds letters and cheques
- Process advance payment requests
- Send documentation and instructions to Notaries, Lawyers and other Brokerages
- Ensure that all files are properly and securely stored for easy retrieval
- Preserve confidentiality of all client information in accordance with BCFSA

**Reception Duties**:

- Manage key system
- Greet and direct all walk-in traffic
- Open and date stamp all correspondence and mail
- Floor duty schedule
- Basic data entry
- Window sheets
- Stationary order and maintenance
- Perform other office organizational related duties as required

**Salary**: $40,000.00-$42,500.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Chilliwack, BC V2P 4N8: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)
