**PART-TIME JANITOR POSITION (Indefinite Term)**

The Bethania Group is currently recruiting for a **Part-Time (.7 EFT - 52.5 hrs bi/wkly) Janitor position** for 285 Pembina Inc. located at 285 Pembina Hwy. It is a multi-functional facility servicing Deaf, Hard-of-Hearing and Hearing individuals. This position plays an important role in supporting all of our residents, tenants and staff. Previous experience working with people within various communities including deaf, deaf blind and mental health is an asset.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Vacuuming, mopping, and washing floors
- Emptying garbage, collecting recycling
- Cleaning washrooms
- Wiping walls, chairs, tables, handrails etc.
- Meeting room set ups and tear downs

Requirements include:

- High school graduate or equivalent
- Knowledge and experience in working with cleaning supplies and chemicals
- Ability to read, write and speak proficiently in the English language
- Ability to provide excellent customer service
- Ability to work harmoniously with others
- Basic knowledge of WHIMIS
- Ability to act independently within established guidelines
- Good physical health to meet the requirements of the job

**As of Monday, October 18th, 2021, ALL staff working in any of our facilities are required to be fully vaccinated and must provide proof of vaccination upon hire.**

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 26.25 per week

**Salary**: $14.70 per hour
