**Position: Data Collector**

Data Collectors at Parléview will be engaged in a significant government project located in southern Alberta. We aim to assemble a dedicated team of six Data Collectors to operate on-site for a 5-week event, responsible for comprehensive data collection and providing essential event support

Responsibilities include capturing simultaneous written and typed observation-style data and serving as the primary communicator within the data collection unit, providing real-time directives based on observations.

**Position Role & Responsibility**

**Location & Availability**: Live in Medicine Hat, Alberta and work in southern Alberta, from approximately May 20 to June 28, 2024 (travel provisions, per diem and living expenses will be covered based on allowances).

**Work Schedule**:Monday to Friday availability from 0700 - 1700, with occasional tasks potentially extending beyond these hours.

**Reporting Skills**:Develop detailed verbal and written observation reports, serving as the point of communication within the data collection unit.

**Team Collaboration**: Work alongside five other Data Collectors and a larger team comprising event professionals and industry specialists.

**Leadership & Reporting**: Confidently lead by providing feedback to documentary teams, Event Managers, and Logistics Coordinators based on observation results, ensuring timely and surpassing reporting objectives.

**Physical Requirements**: Ability to lift 50LBS, grade, and sort incoming materials, maintaining a safe and clean work environment.

**Cultural Adherence**: Be a positive role model, embodying Parléview's standards, attitude, and conduct while aligning with our vision and values.

**Requirements**:
**Experience**: Minimum 1 year in scientific field support.

**Assets**: Outdoor event experience, excellent written and verbal communication, exceptional organizational skills, comfort in a military environment, government client involvement, bilingual proficiency in French and English.

**Logistics**: Willingness to relocate on-site for five weeks with a valid passport (with provided per diems and living expenses), prior security clearance is an asset. Readiness for extensive security clearances, background check. Adeptness in multitasking, working under mínimal supervision, and thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 5 weeks

**Salary**: $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 50 per week
