**POSITION SCOPE**

We are currently recruiting for summer students to join our Canada Malting Operations team in Thunder Bay. Our students participate in a variety of activities in the plant including minor related assignments involved in the production process for malt and sanitation (washing using a high pressure wash system, sweeping, etc.)

**SKILLS & EXPERIENCE**
- Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program
- Positive attitude and self-starter
- Excellent communication and written skills
- Ability to work alone or in a group
- Attention to detail
- Excellent listening skills and receptiveness to feedback
- Previous safety training an asset

Please be advised that all eligible applicants will be required to successfully complete relevant training in regards to safety and standard operating procedures

**WORK ENVIRONMENT**
- Safety training provided upon hiring.
- Personal Protective Equipment required in all work environments.
- Some shift work required.
- Some positions require outdoor work.
- Work around automated equipment.
- Some overtime may be required.

**SUMMER SEASON**

April 1, 2023- September 15, 2023 (Approximately)

**PAY RATE**

$18.30 and 4$ vacation pay.
