**Shining Stars Childcare Centre**:

- is an Early Years Centre providing high quality childcare services in a warm, supportive, and safe environment for children as well as for families looking for socialization opportunities for their children.

We are looking to hire a qualified Director to manage our day-to-day operations and establish and sustain a positive learning environment for children.

**Responsibilities**:

- Ensure a safe, happy, and stimulating environment for children.
- Ensure that center facilities are safe for children and comply with regulations.
- Evaluate and purchase materials, equipment, and supplies.
- Manage and support staffs and promote their professional development.
- Complete ongoing training and courses to remain up to date on centre's standards and procedures.
- Communicate and meet with parents regarding their children and the center’s policies.
- Develop and facilitate a marketing and communications plan.
- Coordinate and lead regular staff meetings to encourage communication, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Step into classrooms to support educators as needed.
- Implement and oversee the Centre’s daily cleaning schedule to maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized facility.
- Monitor and evaluate programs and activities for continuous improvement and compliance.
- Manage enrollment processes, order necessary materials, supplies, and equipment, and ensure smooth operations.
- Hire, train, schedule, and supervise employees, ensuring they meet all policies and legal requirements as well as fostering a positive and productive team environment,

**Requirements**:

- Completed a post diploma/degree in early childhood care and education, approved by the Board
- Early childhood Director certificate
- Experience providing services to children at an early childhood centre or preschool centre while holding a certificate
- CPR and First aid
- Food Safety course-certificate
- Current Criminal Record Check with vulnerable sector

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $35.10 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Additional pay:
