**Position Overview**

This is a seasonal, on-call position. Dockhands work together as a team to complete tasks like cleaning the Clipper facility through minor repairs and janitorial activities, such as:

- Throwing, receiving and securing vessel lines, installing vessel boarding ramps and loading/unloading vessels during vessel arrival and departure operations
- Transferring luggage and cargo between the terminal, vessels and company leased motor coaches or other transportation modes
- Dockhands report to on-site management team

**Key Responsibilities**
- Cleaning bathrooms, floors, offices, and any other indoor/dock area needed
- Using crane to load and offload luggage from boat
- Loading luggage and unloading luggage bins
- Minor terminal repairs
- Tying and untying off boat during docking process

**Qualifications and Skills Required**
- Team player; able to work effectively as a team
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English
- Problem solving abilities
- Ability to use basic tools to do minor terminal repairs
- Ability to work from raised platforms and ladders
- Must be able to lift to 77 pounds (35 kilograms)
- Crane operator certificate would be considered an asset
- Forklift operator certificate would be considered an asset
- Previous experience working on docks or in general maintenance preferred
- Must be fully vaccinated against Covid-19
- A criminal record check may be required
