IT Specialist

Peace Wapiti Public School Division (PWPSD) provides service to approximately 5,900 students in Junior Kindergarten through Grade 12 in 34 schools and is one of the largest employers in the Grande Prairie/Spirit River region.

**Qualifications**:
Minimum of 2 years post-secondary education in a related field or equivalent professional experience

**Requirements**:
Willingness to travel - This position will include regular, all year, site visits to our northern sites (Spirit River, Savanna, Bonanza, Eaglesham etc.)

Maintain accurate and up to date documentation of work

Maintain a good working relationship with coworkers and school staff

Very good communication skills

Must hold a valid Alberta Driver's License

**Responsibilities include**:
Provide helpdesk and onsite support for schools

Research technology related issues and products

Hardware and software troubleshooting

IT experience with client, server, and network service delivery

Competence in the assembly, racking and configuration of networking hardware

Salary is commensurate with experience. The salary range for this position is $4,852.38/month to $7,160.13/month.
