**Hours of Work**:
Monday to Friday; 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

**Salary Range**:
$17.00 to $19.00 depending on experience

**What Does a QC Inspector Do?**

The QC Inspector will inspect products both visually and with measurement tools, such as micrometers or calipers. Their job is to ensure the products are produced consistently of high quality and adhere to relevant specifications.
- Understanding and complying with all Company Quality/Safety policies, procedures and rules and carrying out all activities including the operation of any machinery in a safe, responsible manner.
- Ensure proper training has been received before undertaking any job.
- Ensuring that all required and appropriate PPE be worn at all times.
- Ensure that all products and materials conform to drawings and specifications.
- Approves finished products by confirming specifications.
- Package products for shipment.
- Quarantine products and initiate non-conformance reports when defects are found.
- Validate Shop Standards to an established national or international standard of measurement.
- Ensure measuring equipment is calibrated in accordance with an established schedule.
- Complete the final inspection of products and the final inspection checklist prior to shipping.
- Communicate suggestions for improvements to the supervisor.
- Perform other tasks as assigned and deemed safe by the supervisor or designate that may or may not be in your area of work.

**What Qualifications Do We Look For?**
- High School Diploma.
- Numeracy skills, to measure and verify specifications.
- Technical skills, to understand technical documents, manuals, and drawings to ensure that products meet the correct requirements.
- Detail oriented, ability to maintain focus to spot issues and monitor for products or parts that do not meet compliance.
- Proven time management skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in verbal and written English.
- Previous QC Inspector experience is an asset.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is an asset.
- WHIMIS 2015 Certification. (Can be provided prior to employment).
- Own transportation (not transit accessible)
