**Summary of Job**:
The registered Social Worker (MSW) will provide assessment and evidence based, time limited, trauma informed service to adults 16 years and older, with a mental health concern. Duties include, but are not limited to, completing intake assessments, communicating and collaborating with other members of the health care team and primary care providers, developing person centered counseling plans and delivering individual psychotherapy appropriate for the needs of the referred individual.

**Qualifications and Responsibilities**:

- Will possess a Masters of Social Work degree
- A member in good standing with the College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW)
- Knowledge of relevant legislation including but not limited to the Mental Health Act, the substitute decisions act, the Health Care Consent Act and the Personal Health Information Protection Act (PHIPA)
- Strong computer skills
- Ability to work well independently
- Experience working in a community setting
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrate sensitivity to diversity, whether related to race, religion, culture, sexual orientation, and/or gender identity
- Satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Check required
- Valid driver’s license with $2 million vehicle liability insurance
