**Job Summary**: The Shipper/Receiver at NDL Construction will be responsible for the effective handling, coordination, and transportation of materials necessary for our construction projects. The role demands a proactive approach to managing logístical challenges, including adapting to various transportation methods suited for remote locations.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Material Handling:

- Efficiently manage the receipt and dispatch of construction materials.
- Ensure accurate labeling and storage of materials, adhering to safety standards.

Logistics Coordination:

- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and efficient delivery of materials.
- Adapt to unique transportation methods, such as barge and winter road shipments.
- Occasionally handle materials classified as dangerous goods, adhering to relevant regulations.

Record Keeping:

- Maintain accurate records of shipments and inventory.
- Prepare necessary documentation for shipping and receiving activities.

Warehouse Management:

- Organize and maintain the warehouse in a clean and safe condition.
- Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, safely and efficiently.

Team Communication:

- Communicate effectively with the Shop Foreperson and team members.
- Address and resolve issues related to material shipments and receipts.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in shipping and receiving, preferably in a construction or similar industry.
- Familiarity with handling dangerous goods is an asset.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Certified or willing to obtain certification in operating warehouse equipment.
- Good computer skills and knowledge of inventory management systems.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Class 5 Driver's license required, class 3 is an asset.

**Working Conditions**: The role involves physical work, including lifting heavy items and operating in various weather conditions. Flexibility in work hours, including occasional weekends, may be required.

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 45 per week
