Job Description: As the Event Security Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing all aspects of event security operations. Your primary responsibility will be to coordinate and lead a team of security personnel to ensure the safety and security of event attendees, staff, and property. You will be responsible for implementing and enforcing security protocols, conducting risk assessments, and maintaining a visible and vigilant security presence throughout the event.

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead, train, and manage a team of event security personnel, including, performance evaluations, and training programs
- Collaborate with event organizers, stakeholders, and local law enforcement agencies to develop comprehensive security plans
- Conduct thorough risk assessments, identify potential security threats, and implement appropriate security measures
- Monitor surveillance systems, including CCTV and access control systems, and respond to any security incidents or emergencies in a timely manner
- Coordinate with event staff and volunteers to ensure smooth operations and adherence to security protocols
- Maintain accurate records and reports of incidents, investigations, and security activities
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and relevant laws and regulations to continuously improve security operations

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in event security or a similar supervisory role is essential
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with event organizers, staff, and attendees
- Thorough understanding of security protocols, risk management, and emergency response procedures
- Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations related to event security
- Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure
- Physical fitness and the ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods
- Valid security license or certification

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

**Salary**: $20.00-$22.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- Weekends as needed

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay
