Arborist / Climber

Adamson Tree Experts is a well known and established tree service in Wasaga Beach and the surrounding area since 1997. We have grown substantially over the past few years and are looking for professionals to join our team.

We are hiring for 2 positions.

**Scope of Work Includes but not limited to**:

- Tree Biology & Care
- Tree Climbing
- Tree Rope Access using DRT AND SRT
- Aerial Lift Operations & Fall Protection
- Tree Removal
- Tree Stump Removal
- Arborist Technical Rigging
- Hedge Trimming
- Deep Root Fertilization and Aeration
- Crane Assisted Tree Removals

**Qualifications**:

- Reliable, punctual, a positive attitude, and strong work ethic
- Knowledgeable and competent with all aspects of tree care and the safe operation of related equipment (Chippers, Chainsaws, Pruners, Climbing Gear/Rigging Equipment, Aerial devices, Stump Grinders, etc.)
- ISA Certified Arborist or Certified Arborist 444A and/or Certified Utility Arborist 444B (preferred)
- Proven production climbing skills, excellent client communication and customer service skills
- Knowledgeable and competent in modern arboriculture practices and climbing techniques
- Must possess a valid G-Class driver's license. Clean driver's abstract preferred

**Technical Qualifications**:

- Competent in arboricultural practices including technical rigging, hazardous tree removal, cable installation, and proper pruning techniques
- Competent in Tree Identification
- Ability to perform routine maintenance on chain saws and equipment
- Minimum 3-5 years experience as a climbing arborist

**Valuable Assets**:

- First Aid and WHMIS is beneficial, but not required
- Personal climbing gear and saw

Salary is negotiable and commensurate with experience and education.

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday ( occasional weekends )

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
