Bookkeeper

Reporting to the Controller, the **Bookkeeper **is responsible for maintaining the books of account, including but not limited to invoicing, vendor payments, accounts receivables and payables, preparing deposits and journal entries.
**Primary Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Completes day-to-day accounting functions
- Sends out monthly invoices to customers and monitors payment
- Processes daily accounts receivable functions
- Prepares deposits of funds received
- Processes vendor payments
- Completes bank reconciliation and intercompany transactions
- Customer service including handling customer inquiries and problem solving
- Performs other duties as required
Finance team works predominantly on-site with situational and occasional remote work. It is a permanent full-time position Monday - Friday 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

**Required Education, Skills and Qualifications**
- University or college degree in finance/accounting
- Minimum 3 years accounting experience
- Experience working with Sage is preferred
- Excellent knowledge of computer programs including excel
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills both verbal and written
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated, ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Works well in a fast paced, interactive team environment
