**JOB OVERVIEW**:
We are looking for a driven, and motivated individual to join our team as Financial Analyst with a minimum CFA Level II qualification to join our team, in a role that focuses on private, small to mid-sized, companies/business valuations, transaction value support, and client support for our proprietary valuation software.

**SCOPE OF WORK**
- Perform detailed financial modeling and valuation analyses of private companies using proprietory software that considers multiple methodologies under the universal approaches to value.
- Assess and analyze financial statements, cash flow projections, and market data to determine the inherent value of private companies for multiple purposes.
- Research and develop creative solutions to valuation related and supporting activities.
- Perform internal due diligence and where applicable, extensive analysis, reports, questionnaires and presentations.
- Prepare comprehensive financial and valuation reports and presentations summarizing valuation analyses, assumptions, and key findings for internal and external stakeholders.
- Communicate complex financial concepts in a clear and concise manner.
- Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and market conditions affecting private companies.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on market research to support decision-making processes.
- Evaluate and identify potential risks associated with assessed companies’ operations and providing recommendations to mitigate risks and enhance investment returns.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Advisors, Brokers, Accountants, Business Owners and others to gather and analyze relevant data for valuations and or transactions and or planning thereof.
- Work closely with management and M&A Advisors and Business Brokers to support the team.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- CFA Level II or Level III certification required
- CBV designation an asset
- Advanced proficiency in:

- Financial Modelling and valuation techniques
- Research
- MS Excell Macros and Visual Basic Application
- Excell formulas, pivot tables and shortcuts
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statement
- Excellent communication both verbal and written as well as presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Accurate and detail oriented, organized, and with the ability to prioritize tasks
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated, team player with a desire to own the position
- Driven to succeed and an entrepreneurial mindset
