**Location**: ASCO Concrete Structures - Based in Alfred, ON (work is performed mainly in Ottawa and Eastern Ontario)

**Job Summary + Responsibilities**
- Conduct proper pre-trip (circle checks) and post-trip inspections; complete logbook entries
- Conduct daily/weekly/monthly equipment inspection prior to all work
- Perform regular manufacturer recommended maintenance on all company equipment
- Report all defective equipment and remove from service
- Repair equipment and/or arrange equipment for repairs
- Operate and maintain boom truck and forklift, scissor lift, man lift, etc.
- Load and unload concrete formwork equipment
- Ensure loads are secured properly
- Deliver heavy equipment to job sites
- Drive safely and obey all traffic laws
- Manage the repairs and maintenance of the company’s fleet of vehicles, equipment and tools

**Experience + Requirements**
- 3 years experience in operating boom trucks and driving large trucks is mandatory, formwork boom truck experience an asset
- Experience in operating cranes, telehandlers, forklift, and small construction machinery an asset
- Experience in drivers loads of more than 4500kg (CVOR requirements)
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot heavy equipment issues
- Repair and maintenance experience on heavy equipment and vehicles
- Experience with lifting and placing formwork and formwork cages preferred but not required
- Welding and mechanic skills a plus
