Be our next **Construction Administrator**

**Your work environment at EXP**

In this role, you will be a part of the Design team, in the Architecture Group, based in the Fredericton office.

**What a day at EXP has in store for you**
- Attend site meeting, oversee activities on multiple construction projects & prepare site/field reports;
- Provide progress reports to clients on a regular basis;
- Process shop drawings, answer Contractor requests for information and issue Contract Changes;
- Attend to all construction phase paperwork;
- Perform quality control/constructability reviews on drawings and specifications prior to issuing documents for permit/tender;
- Mentor design and technical staff on construction and Practice issues;
- Provide updates and reports to Project Manager and Project Captain.
- Review and process progress claims from Contractors;
**What your experience looks like**
- At least 5+ years’ field experience with a focus on the construction phase of projects;
- Ability to work independently and in team environment;
- Sound technical and building envelope knowledge, strong understanding of building codes, and familiarity with Nova Scotia construction practices;
- Positive attitude and attention to detail;
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with co-workers, clients, contractors, and authorities;
- Knowledge in various types of construction contracts like CCDC;
- Review progress claims from Contractors;
- Some travel within Atlantic Canada will be required;
- Recognized credentials from a construction contract administration course or other equivalent training would be an asset.
