Farm Hand/labourer

We are looking for a qualified individual to be part of the team to run our grain and cattle farm. If you are the successful applicant, you will be a team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.

On site accommodation is provided.
- Feed and care for cattle
- Operate farm equipment as trained and directed
- Perform yard and building maintenance
- Perform construction projects
- Perform minor equipment repairs
- Perform manual labor
- Perform general maintenance tasks, such as building and repairing fences, cleaning barns and shops
- Clean, service and maintain all equipment and vehicles
- Pick up seed, fertilizer, herbicide, water, feed, parts and materials as required for the ongoing operation of the farm
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Cattle health knowledge and strong cattle handling skills are required
- Must be familiar with farm equipment operation and maintenance
- Able to work both collaboratively and independently
- Demonstrates a positive attitude and good communication skills
- Must be reliable and trustworthy with a good work ethic
- Physically fit
- Fluent in English language, oral and written
