Electrical Technician

Bluewrist Inc. develops and markets industrial automation solutions and products in the areas of robotics and machine vision, including solutions for robot guidance, bin-picking, flexible inspection, 3D scanning and robot calibration. We are a technology driven company with world class clients around the world.
We’re looking for an **Electrical Technician** to support our customers in the US and Canada. Start of employment would be as soon as possible. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a high growth Canadian technology company with the ambition of expanding globally.
**Responsibilities**
- Assemble, install, and maintain electrical or automation systems
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment components as required
- Troubleshoot, develop and support PLC and HMI programs for use on production lines or industrial equipment.
- Provide technical support to the development team
- Maintain and improve new and existing Bluewrist products and solutions
**Qualifications**
- A degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering
- Practical experience in assembly, installation, and maintenance of electrical or automation systems
- Familiar with wiring gage, wiring tools and variety hand tools
- Be able to read blue print and CSA code knowledge would be preferred
- Some practice to build automation safety circuits
- Some experience in programming and troubleshooting PLCs. (AB, Omron, Siemens)
- Hardware troubleshooting and testing experience would be more considered
**Other Skills**
- AutoCAD skills a plus.
- Smart, creative with strong analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills.
- Interest in learning and result oriented
- Enthusiastic friendly team player
