Assistant Health Services Manager

We are currently looking for a nursing assistant who cares about the health of residents. The assistant responsible for health services contributes to the planning and control of activities relating to the provision of care and the well-being of residents. He ensures compliance with the standards of the profession as well as the regulations for the certification of private seniors' residences relating to his sector. The shifts are during the day, from Monday to Friday.
More specifically, your daily life with us will look like:
- Practice while respecting the laws and standards in force, the scale of values of the residents and their convictions
- Work closely with the Head of Health Services to supervise and mobilize the work of registered and/or auxiliary nurses and resident attendants
- Plan human resources and ensure the timely replacement of care staff as needed
- Act as an intermediary for the various external stakeholders (doctors, pharmacists, CLSC, CISSS/CIUSSS, etc.)
- Take the appropriate measures with regard to emergency situations that may arise in the establishment
- Assume the staffing processes of his sector, ensure the reception, training and integration of new staff
- Identify the service needs of potential or living residents already in residence
- Collaborate in the follow-up of the medical file, occasionally appointments and prescriptions of the resident
- All other related tasks.
**ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Adhere to standards and legislation in accordance with private seniors' home certification and the code of ethics
- Collaborate in the follow-up of the medical dossiers, occasionaly arrange appointments and prescriptions for the residents
- Collaborate with residents for medical visits
- Create and maintain metuculous notes in the residents Dossier in accordance with the requirements of the Ordre des Infirmiers et Infirmières auxiliaires du Québec (OIIAQ)
- Ensure good communication as well as medical follow-ups with the vested parties
- Help maintain the relationship of trust with residents' family and friends as well as with various stakeholders (CLSC, CSSS, etc.)
- Upon request by the residents doctor or pharmacist, update the residents medical dossiers and prescriptions
- Upon requests from physicians, pharmacists or the CISSS, follow up on residents medical dossiers and prescriptions
**EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS**:
- Good sense of interpersonal communication
- Good communication
- A proffesional studies dimploma (DEP) in health care assistance, nursing
- Member of the OIIAQ
