**Product Merchandising Specialist (retail)**

**Position Overview**: As a Product Merchandising Specialist (retail), you will play a vital role in curating visually appealing displays and strategies that showcase our tactical and outdoor gear and apparel. Your ability to connect with our target audience, understand their lifestyle needs, and design captivating displays will be key to driving brand awareness and engagement.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement merchandising strategies that resonate with our target audience.
- Collaborate closely with the management and product teams to understand the unique features and benefits of each product.
- Create engaging and on-trend product displays for retail stores and trade shows.
- Utilize your creative skills to design visually captivating store layouts and window displays.
- Analyze market trends, customer feedback, and sales data to optimize product placement and presentation.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align merchandising efforts with ongoing campaigns and promotions.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure that popular products are adequately stocked and prominently displayed.
- Assist in selecting and coordinating product photoshoots and creating compelling visual assets.
- Train retail associates on product knowledge and effective merchandising techniques.
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitive offerings in the urban tactical gear market.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience (2+ years) in retail merchandising, particularly in the tactical gear or outdoor industry.
- Understanding of fashion trends, lifestyle preferences, and consumer behavior.
- Creative mindset with a keen eye for design and visual aesthetics.
- Proficiency in using software and visual merchandising tools.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to adapt to fast-paced environments and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and online visual merchandising is advantageous.
- Passion for outdoor exploration, or tactical interests is a plus.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $16.00-$18.00 per hour

- Merchandising: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
