Halifax, Canada Step Above Childcare Centre Inc Full time

Our center is looking to hire an on-call shopper for our grocery orders. May also include shopping for classroom supplies. We are looking for someone who can be available when called, within reason.

**Responsibilities**:

- Shop for groceries and other items as requested
- Select the best quality products and ensure accurate quantities
- Follow specific instructions for handling and packaging items
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the shopping area
- Buying large grocery orders for the daycare
- Delivery of groceries into the facility, into the designated areas
- Possibly going to multiple stores in one trip
- Follow the list

**Skills**:

- Excellent attention to detail
- Be able to lift 50lbs
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Have a clean car
- Be on call
- Be 18 or older, with a valid license and own car

As a Store Shopper, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to our center. You will be responsible for accurately selecting and packaging items. This position requires strong organizational skills, as you will need to efficiently navigate the store and fulfill the order in a timely manner. Good communication skills are essential for addressing any inquiries or concerns. If you enjoy working independently in a fast-paced environment, this role is perfect for you.
