**Job Description**:
The Estimator position will involve working closely with our in-house Design Engineering team. We offer our clients custom solutions to complex problems with the goal of saving both time & money. Our experience, knowledge, culture, reputation, and commitment to safety are the keys to our success

**Responsibilities**:
The Ideal Estimator will utilize their knowledge skills and experiences to:

- Download, analyze, and take-off projects from the tender packages received from clients by the targeted submission deadlines.
- Create quotations and work with our engineering department and estimating team to ensure the most cost-effective solutions are presented to our clients.
- Perform cost analysis at completion of projects.
- Follow up with contractors to receive feedback after the tender has closed.
- Review projects with the project manager and prepare drillers and onsite crew for anticipated geotechnical and site concerns.
- Inform Operations Manager of any anticipated personnel and material requirements.
- Participate in site visits and pull plan meetings as required.

Qualifications:

- Experience preparing piling estimates within the commercial and industrial market
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365
- Strong organizational, time and budget management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Previous geotechnical design experience will be an asset
- The Idea estimator will have a current APEGA membership

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $78,000.00-$95,000.00 per year
