Restoration Technician

Established in 1977, WINMAR® is recognized as one of Canada’s largest restoration networks, with over 90 locations across the country; providing emergency and reconstruction services to homes, businesses, industrial and institutional properties. We specialize in water damage, fire and smoke restoration services; mould inspection and removal as well as damage restoration and disaster recovery. As general contractors, we also specialize in construction, renovation, demolition and other services.

**The Position**:Restoration Technician - **WINMAR® Property Restoration is expanding and looking for energetic and self-motivated employees to join our team. This position is full time, and offers a competitive wage based on experience and expertise. The role will be primarily responsible for water extraction and for the cleanup phase of residential and commercial properties that have experienced a loss.

General Responsibilities and Performance Expectations include:

- Water Extraction
- Set up & monitoring drying equipment
- Asbestos containment and removal
- Performing demolitions & light construction tasks
- Cleaning up debris removal of drywall, cabinetry, and flooring
- Setting up containment and decontaminating
- Upholding all company policies and procedures
- Confidence in leading other technicians and labourers
- Able to work well in team environments as well as alone

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $19.00-$22.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- On call
- Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Brantford, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
