The EAO is independent of the Workers’ Compensation Board of BC (“Work Safe BC” or the “Board”) and is situated within the Ministry of Labour.

As a key member of the Employers’ Advisers office the Client Services Representative (CSR) provides information, initial service intake determination and subsequent file creation and assignment with respect to the mandate and services provided by the Employers’ Advisers Office under the Workers’ Compensation Act. This role provides information about an employer’s rights and options and assists Advisers in managing information requirements and documentation for client files. This role reviews and analyzes employer enquiries and requests to determine if they can be resolved within the context of the Workers’ Compensation Act and Regulation. The CSR is a key support to staff and program management and coordinates/provides office administration functions, filing and records management, facilities, and asset management, purchasing and asset disposal. The CSR is also expected to play a key role in a program area activity such as surveying, marketing, business process improvement and development, systems development/maintenance, internet/ web media projects and assignments as requested.

**Job Requirements**:
Grade 12 graduation or equivalent along with a minimum of two (2) years of related work experience. Various combinations of post-secondary education and *related work experience may also be considered.- Related work experience may include:

- Experience performing clerical duties such as answering telephones, processing, and distributing mail, performing data entry, and maintaining case files.Preference may be given to:

- Applicants with specific experience in the Worker’s Compensation System, injury management or occupational health and safety. Applicants who have experience speaking and are fluent in a second language.**About this Position**:
