Call Taker

Peak Disposal Services Inc. is a locally owned Roll Off Company. With 21 trucks and close to 600 disposal bins we focus on providing waste removal service to the construction industry. With growing demands on our dispatch department, we are looking to hire a dispatch call taker / customer service associate to join our team.

Peak Disposal Services Inc is seeking to employ a full-time dispatch call taker / customer service representative to act as a first communication point for customer requests.

You will receive customer requests and relay these requests to our dispatch team. You must be able to communicate in English and have good computer skills. (Excel, Word, Office)

**Responsibilities**
- You will be responsible for answering telephone calls from our customers.
- You will relay the incoming call request from our clients to our dispatchers.
- You will be responsible for keeping track of the customer orders.

**Requirements and Skills**
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of the city (greater Vancouver an asset)
- Attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Proficient with cell phone technology
- Excellent communicator
- Fluent in English (oral and written)
- Experience in dispatching is an asset.
- Able to multi-task
- Willing to learn and take on additional tasks.

**Salary**: $26.00-$27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
