Mud Rotary Driller

**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Operating a commercial truck
- Safely operating drilling equipment (Geotechnical Mud Rotary & Multi Drills, Diamond Drilling, Sonic Drills, Auger Drills and Specialty Geotechnical Drills & Equipment)
- Directing drilling assistants and fieldwork
- Routine operational maintenance of drilling equipment
- Travelling out of town when required
- Working overtime when required
- Confident and proficient at in-situ geotechnical testing methods including (SPT, Shelby tube sampling, Piston sampling, Field/nilcon vane and Packer testing)

**Qualifications and Skills**
- Class 1 driver's license
- Set up and operate geotechnical mud rotary drilling equipment, sampling systems, geophysical instruments and other in-situ testing equipment
- Physically fit; capable of repetitive movements and heavy lifting
- Mechanical aptitude and experience working with equipment
- Positive attitude toward safety and willingness to engage in our HSE culture
- Team player who is flexible, reliable, and willing to learn
- Basic security clearance and criminal record check
- High school education or equivalent
