Sign Fabricator

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Sign Fabricator / Bucket Truck Operator to join our team. You will be responsible for fabricating various signs and operating and maintaining bucket trucks to perform various tasks at elevated heights. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail and a strong focus on safety.

**Duties**:
**Operating Bucket Trucks**:

- Operate bucket trucks to perform installation and maintenance of various signs.
- Inspect and maintain bucket trucks to ensure safe and efficient operation
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment, including checking fluid levels, inspecting tires, and cleaning the truck
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while working at elevated heights
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure smooth operations
- Complete work orders and maintain accurate records of work performed

**Sign Fabrication**:

- Operating and maintaining various machinery and tools to fabricate signs
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics to create signs
- Selecting appropriate materials and methods for each sign project
- Collaborating with designers, sales reps, and other team members to ensure sign quality and customer satisfaction

**Requirements**:

- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Experience operating bucket trucks or similar aerial lift equipment
- Knowledge of safety procedures and best practices for working at heights
- Ability to read and interpret work orders, maps, and diagrams
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues
- Physical stamina to perform tasks at elevated heights for extended periods of time
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
- Knowledge of various power tools to fabricate signs

**Skills**:

- Rigging experience
- Blueprint reading skills
- Basic machining knowledge
- Strong math skills for basic calculations
- Familiarity with hand tools for maintenance
- Welding skills (preferred but not required)
- Experience with power tools
