**Salary**: $23.673-$27.445/hr
- These hours can vary depending on the operational requirements of the organization
- Mount Carmel Clinic operates out of multiple locations; you may be required to work in other areas

Position Summary

This position assists with rapid re-housing for individuals experiencing homelessness or those at risk of homelessness. Client services include liaising with landlords including social housing, support in acquiring ID, and maintain rental housing. The Community Outreach Workers provides short-term ongoing support to promote successful tenancies and individual wellbeing.

Support rental unit viewings, landlord interviews, and lease negotiations.
Provide tenant supports including education on rights and responsibilities, home visits, and connection to local community resources.
Build, and maintain ongoing relationships with local landlords

**Qualifications**:
Education

Valid Drivers' license and access to a reliable vehicle

Service Delivery Skills, Expertise and Experience

Minimum of 2 years' experience working in community, preferably with the program's target population
Experience providing outreach to hard-to-reach populations
Must have experience working with a vulnerable population
Must have outreach and advocacy experience

Proven knowledge and ability in relationship-building, critical thinking, facilitation, decision-making, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills

Demonstrated ability to prioritize and focus work-related activities to effectively and efficiently achieve service goals and produce expected results/outcomes
