_**This Driver position is on a Part-time Permanent basis - Saturdays only**_

**Yard location: Chatham, ON**
**Workday: Saturdays only**
**No Statutory Holidays**
**Shift time: 6:30AM to 1:00PM**
- **Overtime: is based on freight volume and delays ie. weather, mechanical etc.**_

**What you will do**:

- _**Drive a 3 ton Refrigerated Truck to deliver freights to assigned stops in Windsor area**_
- Deliver freights in good condition and within scheduled time_**(15 to 20 deliveries daily)**_
- _**Load and Unload freight in proper sequence with the use of a dolley (lift up to 50lbs)**_
- _**No Skid work**_
- Use a handheld device to scan documents and freights
- Complete any necessary paperwork accurately
- Perform all safety checks, including pre-trip and post-trip inspection
- Report on all safety hazards and accidents
- Use a cellular phone to communicate with dispatch ie. Truck breakdowns, delivery concerns, answer calls, texts etc.
- Provide excellent customer service
- Build strong client relationships
- Adhere to safety and compliance regulations
- Additional duties as required

**What we require of you**:

- High School Diploma
- Valid G Class Driver’s License
- Clean CVOR and Personal Driver’s Abstract
- Courier or LTL experience is an asset
- Must have 2 year _**COMMERCIAL TRUCK DRIVING**_ experience on the road
- This shift will be _**Saturdays only. **_10 hour workdays with start times from 6:30AM to 1:00PM. Overtime will be paid.
- At times capable of doing physical labour with a great degree of strength and stamina to load and unload - _**Lift or carry up to 50lbs,**_ _**hand bomb and use dolley **_
- Excellent communication and problem solving skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in paperwork
