**Full Time Surveillance Operator**

This position is responsible for directing daily surveillance observations and ensures operational effectiveness in order that the Casino complies with the policies and procedures of BCLC (British Columbia Lottery Corporation) and SEM Resort Ltd Partnership. It would be important to ensure that Surveillance Operators understand and follow the appropriate policies and procedures and all in house operating procedures. As well as the requisite coaching, discipline and training of said employees in a tactful, respectful and development way. It would also be important to have the ability to build effective networks with people, such as the RCMP, BCLC and GPEB personnel inside and outside the organization to give and receive information and to accomplish work objectives.

**Qualifications**

Must be 19 years or older in order to work in the Casino.

Criminology or criminal justice diploma or related diploma or service in the armed forces or the RCMP would be considered and asset.

Minimum of Grade 12. An acceptable combination of education, related training and/or experience may be considered.

Previous work in Surveillance, Security and or Casinos is an asset.

Previous supervisory experience would be considered an advantage.
