**Job description**

STRABAG Inc., is a subsidiary of STRABAG SE, a European-based technology group for construction services. STRABAG Inc. has extensive experience in large-scale underground hard and soft ground construction projects. We provide expertise in ground engineering and tunnel excavation with qualified personnel.

STRABAG is actively seeking a Quality Control Coordinator for our Canadian division, where he/she can utilize their extensive knowledge to contribute to the continued success and growth of the organization. The Quality Control Coordinator will be responsible for developing and monitoring the Quality Control program under the supervision of the Construction Quality Control Manager, as well as communicating the QC program with both internal and external stakeholders.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for inspection, monitoring and comparing construction activities with the drawings according to the project specifications and the Quality Control program;
- Provide direct daily quality support and guidance on product quality to the cross-functional team on order execution
- Ensure required quality documentation such as test reports, certificate of compliance, and others are compiled and reviewed in a timely manner
- Understanding the Inspection and Test Plans Procedures
- Communicate with the third Parties for testing requirements
- Maintain NCR and Deficiency log
- Assist the Designers for the Inspections
- Create and maintain quality system documents.
- Assist/administer supplier and vendor audits and assessments
- Analyze quality data to identify trends and action plan
- Perform Advanced Product Quality Planning activities
- Work in conjunction with process engineering to ensure the production process is meeting required product quality
- Participate in the development inspection and test plans and checklists
- Perform onboarding and quality training as required
- Assist the Construction Quality Manager in promoting QC communication throughout the project team; and
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**
- Minimum five years of experience on transit or construction projects.
- A bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or as a minimum two-year Engineering Technology diploma or equivalent experience in a Quality Control position would be considered an asset
- ISO 9001 Auditor certificate considered an asset
- ACI/CCIL Technician Certification considered an asset.

The employee may require to visit construction site.

Pay: $70,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
