We are a well-established, professional mechanical engineering firm that has been operating in Kamloops since 1997. We are a dynamic team with a complement of skilled, knowledgeable staff providing services in all areas of building systems design for both new and existing buildings. Our focus is on well designed and efficient plumbing, HVAC and fire suppression systems. Our experience includes thousands of projects in British Columbia including commercial developments, multi-family residential developments, modular construction, government, post secondary institutions, residential, recreational and hospitality sectors.

Position Responsibilities:

- Prepare calculations, designs, plans and specifications for fire suppression, plumbing and HVAC systems;
- Set up drawings and make them ready for the project team;
- Review project files for compliance with standards/protocols;
- Coordinate drawing production in line with project requirements and in conjunction with other disciplines;
- Ensure that errors and/or omissions are minimized by examining drawings and making required alterations as needed;
- Clean up CAD files for project closeout (As-Builts);
- Maintain familiarity with current drafting techniques and developments to sustain and improve technical skills.
- Certified completion of an engineering or drafting program from a recognized institution;
- Technical knowledge of building systems, construction methods and materials;
- Proficient drafting with Revit and AutoCAD software;
- Understanding of BC Building Code;
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office software;
- Willingness to learn and adopt best practices;
- Must be able to see a project through to completion and be a quick learner with a positive and pro-active attitude;
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
