We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Climate Specialist to join our team at Rubicon Organics a leading organic cannabis cultivation facility in Delta. As a Climate Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring optimal environmental conditions within our greenhouse facility to support the growth and cultivation of high-quality cannabis plants. Your expertise in managing climate control systems, particularly PRIVA systems, and HVAC integrations will be crucial in maintaining precise environmental parameters essential for high quality cannabis cultivation.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage and optimize climate control systems using PRIVA office, to maintain ideal environmental conditions for cannabis cultivation, including humidity levels, temperature, air circulation, lighting, and CO2 levels.
- Conduct regular monitoring and analysis of environmental parameters to identify and address any deviations or issues promptly.
- Collaborate with the Senior Manager, Cultivation to develop and implement climate control strategies tailored to the specific needs of different cannabis strains and growth stages.
- Assess, calibrate, and maintain greenhouse control system hardware and software
- Create a set of climate control white papers documenting the targets and methodology of cannabis production through the entire life cycle and in a variety or outdoor conditions.
- Implement and maintain a climate and greenhouse control alarm system.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues related to climate control systems to minimize downtime and ensure uninterrupted operation.
- Coordinate with the HVAC team to integrate and optimize heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for maximum efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in greenhouse climate control technology and best practices to continuously improve cultivation processes and outcomes.
- Maintain accurate records of environmental data, system maintenance, and operational procedures in compliance with regulatory requirements.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Horticulture, Agriculture, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience working with PRIVA systems or similar state-of-the-art process control management systems in greenhouse environments.
- In-depth understanding of HVAC systems and their integration with climate control systems.
- Experience working in organic or greenhouse cultivation environments, preferably in the cannabis industry, will be highly advantageous.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work closely with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work occasional weekends or off-hours as needed.
