Pet Sitter

We are seeking a trustworthy and compassionate individual to join our team as an In-Home Pet Sitter. This role involves providing premium care for pets in their own homes, including drop-in visits and overnight stays. **Qualifications**:

- Preferably experienced in animal care.
- Demonstrated knowledge of animal behavior, with the ability to handle a variety of personalities and temperaments.
- Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach to pet care.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Trustworthiness, reliability, and a genuine love for animals are essential qualities for this role.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide in-home pet sitting services for dogs, cats, and other animals as needed.
- Follow feeding schedules, dietary instructions, and specific care routines provided by clients.
- Administer medications or treatments as directed by clients, following proper procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the client's home and pet living areas.
- Monitor pets for any signs of illness, injury, or distress, and provide appropriate care or alert clients as necessary.
- Practice patience and understanding in handling various animal behaviours, including dogs and cats.
- Comfortably stay overnight in clients' homes to provide continuous care and supervision for pets.
- Communicate effectively with clients to provide updates on their pets' well-being and address any concerns.
- Provide exceptional customer service and ensure client satisfaction with pet care services.

**Note**: This is a contract position paid by client service, with responsibilities including drop-in visits and overnight stays in clients' homes. Scheduling flexibility is required, as hours may vary depending on client needs.

**Salary**: From $16.55 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 5 per week
