**The Role**:
The Day Porter is responsible for supporting the overall operations and appearance of the office environment, ensuring it remains clean, organized and functional throughout the day.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Regular cleaning and sanitizing various high traffic areas of the office, including restrooms, common areas, meeting rooms, lunch rooms, coffee bars including dusting, mopping, vacuuming and disinfecting surfaces.
- Monitor and restock supplies including refreshments, hand soap, toiletries, paper towels and other necessary items in the restrooms and break areas.
- Handle the collection, disposal and recycling of waste materials throughout the office including sorting recyclables.
- Performing minor maintenance tasks and reporting larger maintenance issues to Facilities.
- Assist with setting up and equipment in meeting rooms, company events and other areas as required to ensure these spaces are organized and ready for use by employees.
- Monitoring entrances and exits to ensure they are clear and reporting safety hazards.
- Assist with the setup and cleanup of corporate events or meetings held at the office.
- Perform other duties as required.

**You will bring**:

- 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Cleaning and sanitation expertise: Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, proper use of cleaning products, and understanding of sanitation protocols is crucial.
- Attention to detail: Keen eye for detail to ensure that all areas of the office are thoroughly cleaned and maintained.
- Time management: Being able to prioritize tasks, manage time efficiently, and work independently is essential for a day porter.
- Physical stamina: The role can be physically demanding, requiring standing, walking, lifting, and bending for extended periods.
- Communication skills: Ability to communicate with employees and visitors.
- Problem-solving abilities: Problem-solving skills to identify and address any maintenance issues, cleaning challenges, or unexpected situations that may arise during their shift.
- Organizational skills: Keeping track of supplies, managing inventory, and maintaining a well-organized cleaning schedule are crucial aspects of the role.
- Customer service mindset: Interacts with employees, clients, and visitors, providing assistance and addressing their needs.
- Must have a valid driver’s license, and regular access to a vehicle.
