Kairos is a non-profit organization offering custody and community reintegration services for youth 12-17 years of age and their families involved in the Youth Justice System.

We are seeking a qualified individual for the position of Reintegration Worker
- 13-month contract (March 2024 to March 31st.2025 with possible extension) within the Reintegration and Community Services program-District of Greenstone. As a Reintegration Worker you will be responsible for providing a broad range of outreach services and programming that are responsive to the needs and factors that put youth at risk for further involvement in the justice system. Youth are referred by probation services. This position will be based in the District of Greenstone and the position will require travel between communities within the District of Greenstone.

**Salary**: $26.78-$28.95

Benefits: Paid Vacation and Sick Days.

Qualifications and Experience:

- Must possess a Social Services Worker Diploma, Child and Youth Worker Diploma or Onaiigawin Indigenous Services (formally Native and Family Program) from a recognized college and eligible for registration in your respective college or association and in good standing.
- Must possess above average skills at engaging and developing therapeutic relationships with youth; possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, be adaptable, flexible, and creative, consider unique qualities of each client, operate from a strength based, client centered approach; must be sensitive to the social, linguistic, and cultural diversity of the youth, their families, and their community.
- Knowledge of adolescent development, theories, and effective therapeutic interventions for youth at risk of further involvement in the justice system
- Education /experience in delivering individual programming for youth.
- Education/Experience in assessing, planning, implementing, coordinating, monitoring, and evaluating individualized care plans.
- Knowledge of community resources and ability to collaborate with other service providers to ensure coordinated service delivery.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation e.g. Youth Criminal Justice Act, Child Youth and Family Services Act.
- Must have valid “Class G” driver’s license and use of own vehicle for service within the District of Greenstone. Agency to pay mileage
- Current vulnerable Sector Canadian Police Information Check
