**The Opportunity**

Working closely with business leaders and your peers, we are looking for a Business Analyst. You will be providing support to the business units and functional units by identifying business problems and translating into requirements that support system driven solutions. Our focus is simple - create the best team of professionals in the business. **What You Will Do**

Your responsibilities will include:

- Translate business needs into requirements that support the development of business system solutions.
- Prepare for and conduct functional and non-functional requirements elicitation and documentation.
- Prioritize, organize requirements, verify and validate requirements, manage changes to requirements.
- Develop test strategies and scenarios, participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), manage the testing process.
- Investigate issues arising from the business and provide explanation and solutions to resolve the issues.
- Provide business system training to users by drafting documentation and recording video training.

**Who You Are**

You are an experienced Business Analyst who approaches all situations with a business analysis approach and mindset to drive and support the best solution for the organization. You are a team player with a positive attitude who thrives in a consensus culture with an emphasis on collaboration. You are a self-starter who is excited by the opportunity to jump right in and can come up to speed quickly. You are comfortable working on a lean team and are not afraid to roll up your sleeves and do the work that needs to be done.

Our new Business Analyst will have:

- The ideal combination of education and experience including:

- University degree; Degree in business administration, engineering, information technology, science preferred
- 3-5 years of experience in business analysis or project management
- IIBA or Project Management certification is an asset
- The ability to partner with our staff within different lines of business.
- A high level of organizational skills and attention to detail.
- A proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines, driving for results.
- Thought leadership and can innovate solutions quickly.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience working closely with others and enjoy an atmosphere of cross-collaboration.
- The ability to thrive in a changing environment and be comfortable with ambiguity.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Teams, and Outlook).
- Previous Commercial Insurance experience an asset.
- Bilingual (English/French) preferred but not required.
