**RESEARCH INSTITUTE OF THE MUHC**
The Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre (RI-MUHC) is a world-renowned biomedical and hospital research centre. **Position summary**

**General Duties**
- Design, conduct and assess data from experiments utilizing the Organ-on-a-Chip system (organoids, iPsC and novel human In silico immune cells), which permits recapitulation of physiologically relevant parameters including differential localization of cell types as well as nutrient flow,
- Design and analyze result of assays from various modes of sample characterization, including image analysis of multichannel immunofluorescence assays,
- Supervise and train students,

Education: Doctorate Degree

Field of Study: Biology, Experimental Medicine, Immunology or related field.

Work Experience: : less than 2 years of postdoctoral experience
- Experience working in cell culture, preferably with primary cell lines and human tissue,
- Experience working with animals.

**Required Skills**:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills,
- Ability to work independently or with teams with minimum supervision after appropriate training,
- Detail-oriented and able to multitask,
- Experience working in cell culture, preferably with primary cell lines and human tissue,
- Ability to troubleshoot procedures and protocols,
- Ability to work with clinicians and basic scientists,
- Ability to work flexible hours at short notice.

**Additional information**

**Status**: Temporary, full time

**Pay Scale**: A Postdoctoral Fellow will receive a stipend or a bursary from a grant for research activities that will be performed on a full-time basis. All benefits are administered by the University under which they are registered.

**Work Shift**: Monday to Friday, 9AM to 5PM
