Orientation Trainer

The Orientation Coordinator, under the direction of the Human Resources Manager is responsible for facilitating orientation and other training as required for ICS. The Orientation Coordinator will lead in facilitating orientation and training in an efficient process for onboarding.
**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
Prepare and update training material for ongoing training initiatives
Prepare support material for Orientation
Develop and conduct training sessions as required
Create/update/communicate training schedules to Bayshore staff
Analyze feedback from Bayshore staff and provide input to assist in the implementation of new training initiatives
Participate in ongoing internal and/or external continuing education activities
Administrator for LMS Program and training
Participate in project implementations from a training perspective as required
Adhere to Bayshore Policies and Procedures.
Participate in quality activities and continuous improvement initiatives in keeping with the company's Quality Management System
Participates in proactive Health & Safety activities while performing all duties. Is responsible to notify immediate Supervisor of any Health & Safety risks or concerns.
Maintains confidentiality of client and corporate information and discusses same only with appropriate Bayshore personnel
Complete other tasks as requested
REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS
The Orientation Trainer reports to the Human Resource Manager.
Job Qualification
Education
Minimum Grade 12 education; completion of relevant courses/certificates is preferred.
Experience
Other Skills and Abilities
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to prioritize demands. Experience working with Microsoft Windows, Office and Web Conferencing Software.
STANDARDS OF PERFORMANCE
The Orientation Trainer must demonstrate ongoing competency in completing all duties and responsibilities of this job description, in response to changes by the regulating body, as well as agreed upon specific goals and objectives.
PERFORMANCE REVIEW
Performance will be reviewed on an ongoing basis with a formal review at the end of the six month probationary period and subsequently, on at least an annual basis. Input will be sought from employee, Supervisor, ICS Office and Field employees, and in addition, will be based on ongoing client feedback and the extent to which performance meets expectations.
