**What does the Role Entail**:

- Train staff and customers on machine function, maintenance and optimization.
- Train staff and customers on GPS portfolio, use and functionality. (basic setup, data integration, telematics, desktop software, etc.)
- Assist sales team on demo’s when needed
- Visit customers after initial start up to optimize machine / functionality and answer any questions they may have.
- Work closely with all departments to make sure customers needs and concerns are addressed
- Be the go-to guy for any troubleshooting issues on GPS
- Be an active participant in precision agriculture groups and events to keep abreast of competitive activity / products / technology
- Monitor GPS inventory and customer signal subscriptions to renew / upgrade
- Understand and participate in the company or farmers business plan and strategies
- Sell / install GPS systems internally and externally to customers
- Grow the GPS business / services to expand Alberta Ag Centre’s reach with the Trimble lineup
- Stay up to date on changes coming in the Trimble lineup and GPS industry as a whole and adjust internal stock accordingly to stay competitive with new technology
- Be present at trade shows to represent Alberta Ag Centre and Trimble
- A functional understanding of how to incorporate precision technology with machine operation to ensure equipment sold is being used to its full potential
- A solid understanding of agriculture with a practical farming background
- The ability to work flexible hours to accommodate the seasonal nature of the industry
- The drive to be a self-starter and work with mínimal supervision
- Excellent customer service skills
- A valid driver’s license and a clean abstract
- Solid knowledge and experience with precision products and systems
- 2-4 yrs. experience in an agriculture-related role
- Technical and operational competency with agriculture equipment
- A positive customer-oriented attitude and the ability to work with a wide range of personality types
- The ability to speak and present information in a group environment
- The ability to work in a group environment with the customer needs at the forefront of all decisions
- Enthusiasm for the agriculture industry and the desire to meet its producers needs

**Salary**: $65,000.00-$80,000.00 per year

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

**Experience**:

- Precision AG: 2 years (preferred)
