Geological Exploration Data Specialist

_**EXPLORATION DATA SPECIALIST**_

Frequency Geophysics Inc. is seeking dependable individual for assistance with exploration data entry and configuration. The incumbent will work closely with their client’s QAQC and Information Management team in organizing and maintaining QAQC programs and exploration datasets.

**Major Accountabilities**:

- Data entry support for Canada-wide sampling QAQC on exploration programs.
- Support general compilation of various geological, geochemical and geophysical data.
- Ensure data collection follows the client’s standards and best practices.
- Complete quality assurance and quality control (QAQC) of geophysical and geological data

**Training - Education**:

- College Diploma mandatory. Bachelor’s degree in relevant field (geosciences or related sciences) preferred
- Knowledge of Exploration methods, strategy, and technologies would be an asset
- Experience with GIS Softwares (e.g. Esri products) and Datamine an asset
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent with oral and written communication, strong interpersonal skills
- Effective at problem solving, time management and prioritization

**Work location**:Sudbury, Ontario

**Contract Duration**:December 31, 2023 with possibility to extend.

**Job Type**:Contract, 40 hrs / week

**Work Regime**: Flexible Hybrid - Work from home / Work from client’s office when requested with occasional visits to Sudbury Core Logging facilities

**Work Schedule**:Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm

**Hourly rate range**: $30 to $40

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

**Salary**: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
