The Infrastructure Technology Delivery Analyst provides server, network, and desktop expertise to
special ITS projects and enterprise rollouts. They work closely with other personnel in Information
Technology Services including Senior Network and Infrastructure Analysts that set implementation
procedures and standards, and according to Chartwell’s ITS policies and procedures. With an
expectation for extensive travel, the Infrastructure Technology Delivery Analyst participates in site
surveys, performs rollout activities, and assists with post-go-live support. The Infrastructure
Technology Delivery Analyst may be called upon to gather business requirements working directly with
business representatives, vendors, and others in ITS, as appropriate, to help devise the required
solution. They comply with all ITS and corporate policies and with the guidance of the ITS Security
Analyst, ensures that all audit controls are met. The Infrastructure Technology Delivery Analyst
complies with any project management requirements such as documentation standards and status
reporting as determined by the ITS Infrastructure Technology Delivery Manager.

**Key Activities**
- Implements new technology-based solutions in Chartwell residences according to established

procedures
- Coordinates activities with vendors and third-party suppliers as required
- Maintains any pertinent hardware and software inventories required for rollout
- Participates in design, build and test activities
- Assists with the creation of site survey and as-built documentation, test scripts
- Provides frontline end user support as required
- As requested, research, and recommends hardware and software products
- Complies with all project management expectations relating to documentation standards, status

reporting etc.
- Conducts onsite activities with an emphasis on posing the least negative impact to Operations as

possible
- Stays abreast of new and emerging technologies

**Regulatory Compliance**:

- Compliance with corporate policy as well as any documented naming standards and conventions.
- Consults with IT Security Analyst for compliance with computer controls.
- Compliance with Chartwell’s change management framework

**Qualifications**

**Experience**:

- Minimum 7 - 10 years of progressive IT experience working in a complex environment with many

distributed sites
- Knowledge and understanding of networking environments, concepts, and technologies
- Knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Windows server environments, concepts, and

technologies
- Experienced in a managed desktop environment (Citrix, Vmware)
- Experience in a virtualized environment (VMware, Hyper-V)
- Experience with Wireless technologies (Xirrus, Cisco, Aruba)
- VoIP telephony expertise (Avaya, Cisco Unified Communications)
- Working knowledge of networking and security concepts as they relate to troubleshooting and

diagnosis

**Education**:

- University/College degree in a relevant field of study (Computer Science/Engineering/Systems)

- Resourceful and collaborative
- Excellent organizational & multitasking skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Ability to work in fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Strong team player
- Bilingual in French and English, an asset

**Special Requirements**
- Criminal background check
- Must hold a valid provincial driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.

Working Conditions
- Travel off site (60-70%) - BC,AB,ON,QB
- Ability to work outside normal working hours, as required.
