Janitorial / Administrative Apprentice

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented person to **start** by performing janitorial duties in our medical laboratory. As you are able we will teach administrative tasks and increase hours to assist our medical laboratory technologists with various administrative duties including direct patient contact, telephone answering and paperwork. All training and support will be provided.

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming
- Clean and sanitize two restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify supervisor when restocking is needed
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed
- Follow established safety procedures and guidelines
- Adhere to company policies and regulations

**Requirements**:

- Proficiency in English
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of cleanliness
- Good time management skills to ensure tasks are completed efficiently
- Excellent communication skills to interact with team members, supervisor and eventually, patients
