**Salary**: $71,916 - $89,895 per annum

Status: Permanent Full-Time

University Health Network (UHN) is looking for an experienced professional to fill the key role of Corporate Planner in our Corporate Planning Department.

As an integral member of the Corporate Strategy & Planning team within the President's Office, the Corporate Planner is responsible for supporting a variety of strategic projects and planning activities to advance UHN’s Purpose and contribute to the renewal of the organization’s Strategy, Mission and Vision.

Under the direction of the Director, Strategic Projects and Planning, primary responsibilities include:

- Liaise with senior team members and executives to provide strategic planning and project management support for corporate initiatives.
- Plan, manage and monitor corporate projects from initial concept and design through implementation.
- Communicate and present project plans and outcomes to staff and senior executives.
- Develop and write briefing notes and presentations ) for a range of audiences, including senior leadership committees and Board and Board Committees, and speaking notes for the President & CEO and Board Chair, as required.
- Develop business cases, perform options analyses and develop recommendations using strategic thinking skills.
- Support strategic planning and monitoring activities by enhancing organizational understanding of UHN’s strategic plan and priorities.
- Support various governance and Board initiatives and reporting, as requested.
- Coordinate the development of materials and support event planning relevant to the Office of the President & CEO.
- Cultivate and build relationships with staff and executives across the organization to enable successful completion of deliverables.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum three (3) years of experience working in a healthcare environment.
- Graduate Degree in Health Administration, Business Administration or related field, preferred.
- Experience managing projects in a hospital/healthcare environment, preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong attention to detail.
- Discretion and tact owing to sensitivity of corporate information.
- Working knowledge of strategic planning, project management, corporate communications, change management and stakeholder management.
- Experience writing proposals and briefings.
- Experience in interpreting hospital and health care data to inform initiatives.
- Well-developed ability to evaluate and make judgment calls on situations, such as timeliness of escalating issues.
- Ability to demonstrate flexibility and adapt to changing priorities and expectations.
- Ability to create clarity out of ambiguous situations and requirements independently and through consultation with knowledge experts.
- Superior interpersonal skills.
- Vaccines (COVID-19 and others) are a requirement of the job unless you have an exemption on a medical ground pursuant to the Ontario Human Rights Code.
