ECO Canada is looking for a performance-driven individual to join the Professional Services team in a Management role.

Working with the Professional Services and ESG team requires a business-minded individual who canscan the environmental market for new opportunities, while tending to the existing programs, projects and team members. No two days are alike, and the work environment is fast paced, soa keen sense of priority management and organizational skills to ensure multiple activities can be balanced and executed simultaneously will be key. You can also expect to work with a variety of different internal and external stakeholders, from government, industry, Indigenous, academic and other backgrounds, so being adaptable and comfortable leading conversations with people will be integral.

While each member of ECO Canada has individual responsibilities, we take a team-based approach. The Professional Services and ESG team are amongst the most enterprising groups within the organization and each team member brings their unique skills and experience to the table in an effort to diversify our reach and areas of opportunity. **Responsibilities**
- Business Development_
- Participate in the development of new funding initiatives and proposal writing.
- Develop and maintain strategic professional relationships and partnerships.
- Determine how ECO Canada can support existing and new clients alike and pitch relevant products, programs and/or services.
- Identify new areas of opportunity for program, product and service development
- Develop and implement systems for tracking business development efforts and managing key relationships.
- Project Management_
- Collaborate with the team to prepare material for proposal outlines and logical frameworks.
- Lead the development of new proposals, including technical writing, budget creation, sourcing partners and letters of support.
- Review proposal components and final text for clarity, consistency and responsiveness to RFP requirements.
- Execute multiple projects within scope/budget/timeline expectations to ensure high quality standards on project deliverables.
- Participate in budget management, including forecasting, scheduling expenditures and managing in-kind requirements.
- Autonomously executing decision making in a decisive manner, as it relates to determining project guidelines, purpose, deliverables and execution.
- Ongoing updates to management and directors regarding project successes/failures/challenges and any anticipated concerns with scope, budget and/or timelines.
- People Management_
- Interacting with employees to direct workflow, assess performance and problem solve.
- Ensuring short-, mid
- and long-term targets and productivity are met or exceeded.
- Fostering collaboration across the team, ensuring accountability for autonomous work.
- Setting expectations for performance using individualized work plans and performance management strategies for direct reporting staff.
- Engage individual staff in unique ways to encourage growth, adoption of corporate culture and positive engagement.
