**What we’ll love about you**:

- Graduate secondary school education in welding technology, QA/QC or a related discipline at the University or College level.
- **CWB Certified CSA W178.2 Level 2.**
- **1+ years experience **in quality control and welding inspecting.
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Must be safety conscious and adhere to all Steelcon safety processes and policies
- Other qualifications may be required

**What you’ll work on**:

- Perform quality inspection in accordance with the related codes and customer specifications.
- Utilizing and following work instructions to ensure quality acceptance of weldments and fabrications
- Using a flashlight, ultrasound gauges and weld gauges to ensure thickness, depth, and size of the welds are accurate
- Marking and recording the information when non-conformances are found
- Completing inspections inside, in laydown areas, in trunnions or in open floor areas
- Utilizing portable stepladders to access the interior of the units as well as inspect the upper areas on units
- Inspecting and reporting major weld concerns and recommending solutions as necessary.
- Tracking of non-conformance reports and corrective/preventative action requests
- Providing instructions to other personnel as required.
- Other duties as required
