Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain blasting equipment to remove paint, rust, or other debris from surfaces
- Prepare surfaces for painting or coating by sandblasting or shot blasting
- Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate protective gear while operating equipment
- Inspect equipment for any defects or malfunctions and report any issues to supervisor
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Qualifications:
- Experience operating heavy equipment such as cranes, forklifts, and rigging equipment
- Mechanical knowledge and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues
- Proficient in horizontal drilling techniques
- Familiarity with oil and gas industry standards and regulations
- Ability to dig trenches and build structures as required
- Commercial driving experience preferred
