CNC Operator

We have an opening for you to join our dynamic team as a CNC Operator. LOGIC is committed to the growth and expansion of our CNC machining capabilities, with the addition of the latest technology CNC machine. To safely and effectively operate this equipment we are looking for an associate who strives to do their best, accepts a challenge, enjoys machining technology, and is prepared to work hard for team success.
**Role & Responsibilities**:
- Read and understand blueprint designs
- Set up machinery for production of rotary shoulder connections
- Rework metal to create blueprint designs
- Measure and verify all calculations prior to setting up machinery
- Complete routine maintenance of machinery
- Enter all relevant codes to specify the feed, speed, and cut of any toolpath for a CNC
- Ensure traceability on all tubulars via documentation, review work orders to ensure compliance with customer specifications
- Assist in the repair of equipment and machinery including performing daily preventative maintenance and inspections
- Proactive engagement with Logic SOPs and training programs
- Maintain clean and organized workplace
**Qualification Requirements**:
- Extensive knowledge of computer and information systems, with programming capabilities
- Strong eye for detail
- Excellent organizational skills
- In-depth knowledge of metal machinery
- Excellent reporting and analytical skills
- Strong understanding of mechanics, mathematics, and basic chemistry
- Ability to interpret 3D drawings and orthographic projections
**Other Requirements**:
- 3/5 years' experience on setup and operation of CNC Lathes and/or Mills
- Okuma / DMG Mori / Mazak / Weingartner
- Insert selection, tooling recommendations and selection
- G-Code, Siemens / Heidenhain / 0S300 controls
- A combination of formal higher trade/educational training and/or several years of progressive and practical CNC machining experience
- Able to carry out your own setups, perform first off inspections and make program changes/modifications to optimize processes and achieve product quality requirements.

**Salary**: $32.00-$35.00 per hour
