We are looking for an editor + production coordinator for our growing digital marketing agency. This person would be responsible for ensuring quality control from work submitted by other contractors and managing production workflows for client campaigns. This is a part-time contract position where you could work on your own schedule with the exception of being available to take meetings during 1 business day per week (doesn’t really matter which one as long as it’s consistent). Hours will range between 10-15 hours per week depending on client projects. Compensation between $30-$35 per hour, depending on experience.
**Requirements**:
- Experience editing and proofreading business and marketing copy
- Experience managing production workflows and coordinating pieces from multiple writers and designers
- Experience maintaining quality control and brand voice in written copy
**Qualities**:
- Extremely high level of attention to detail
- Proven project management abilities, and ideally experience using a PM platform for task management.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Writing will be an essential component of this role.
- Superior organizational skills with the ability to break down complex tasks into manageable systems and processes.
**Bonus Points (But not required)**:
- Experience working in an agency or agency-like setting
- Located on southern Vancouver island
